The X2 ArtiXon is a highly biomimetic five-finger dexterous robotic hand with 20 degrees of freedom (15 active) and 15 actuators, weighing under 1 kg. It can perform 31 dexterous manipulations including pinching, grasping, and twisting with under 1-second opening and closing time. Bionic tendon drive with micro reducers delivers 3 to 5 kg payload with under 1 mm repeatability. Integrated fingertip tactile sensors detect forces from 0.1 N to 20 N with ±0.1 N accuracy and 1 cm distance perception. A self-locking power-saving mechanism reduces standby consumption by 80 percent. 100 Hz real-time closed-loop control communicates via USB 3.0. Service life is 1,000,000 cycles. It is fully compatible with ROS1 and ROS2 with plug-and-play SDK support. Targets research applications.
