Description

OpenArm 2.0 is a fully open-source humanoid robot arm with complete CAD, firmware, control code, and simulation tools openly available. It features a 300 mm reach, 1.0 kg weight per arm, 1.0 kg nominal and peak payload per arm, 9 kHz CAN-FD control, and a bill of materials cost of approximately 9,000 dollars. It supports bimanual configurations with 1 DOF per arm, teleoperation with real-time gravity compensation, and bilateral force feedback for contact-rich data collection. It is available as a DIY kit or fully assembled unit, designed for reproducible physical AI research.
