Description

The LimX TRON 1 is described as the first multi-modal biped robot and a gateway platform for humanoid reinforcement learning research. Its three-in-one modular foot-end design provides point-foot, sole, and wheeled configurations from a single purchase for multi-modal algorithm development. It ships ready-to-use with built-in high-performance motion control algorithms and features quick assembly and disassembly with automatic hardware recognition and software adaptation. A fully open SDK and hardware interface support high-complexity algorithm validation. Python-based development is compatible with NVIDIA Isaac, Mujoco, and Gazebo simulators. Optional expansion kits include an arm kit for mobile manipulation research, a voice interaction kit with NVIDIA NX and microphone array, and a sensor kit integrating LiDAR and depth camera for 3D mapping and navigation. Targets research and education in embodied AI and humanoid locomotion.
