The DOBOT VX500 Smart Camera is a 5-megapixel machine vision sensor with integrated LED light source and Dobot’s self-developed 2.5D spatial compensation technology, achieving ±0.26 mm positioning accuracy. It identifies target object horizontal and tilt angles with accuracy up to ±0.5 mm for applications on uneven floors and with disordered objects. Functions include material positioning, barcode and character identification, width and diameter measurement, and gray scale measurement. It works with DobotStudioPro software for graphical programming and quick deployment without complex development. The global-shutter CMOS sensor has 2,368 by 1,760 resolution at 3.2 µm pixel size. It is designed for loading and unloading, assembly, gluing, insertion, screwdriving, and transporting in industrial and manufacturing settings.
