Vega is a general-purpose mobile robot platform designed for a wide range of tasks. It features high-payload arms, dexterous hands, a foldable torso and arm design, omni-directional base movement, and a high-capacity battery supporting 10 or more hours of operation. Its foldable design allows it to extend up to 2.2 meters for high-reaching tasks and fold down for transport. With 36 or more degrees of freedom, it handles tasks requiring bimanual dexterity and mobility. The platform is developer and researcher friendly, offering a Python API, Nvidia edge compute, simulation-ready files, rich sensing, and teleoperation support.
