Vega U is a dual-arm manipulation platform designed for versatile applications including data collection, tabletop manipulation, and integration with customized mobile bases. It shares the same upper-body morphology as the Vega robot and is engineered to adapt to various supporting surfaces such as tabletops, mobile bases, or custom surfaces. Each arm provides 7 degrees of freedom, with a head offering 3 degrees of freedom and built-in stereo vision producing RGB images, depth images, and point clouds. The platform is developer and researcher friendly, offering a Python API, Nvidia edge compute, simulation-ready files, and teleoperation support.
