Digit from Agility Robotics is a fully autonomous bipedal humanoid robot designed for logistics and manufacturing. It has been commercially deployed for repetitive, load-intensive, and dangerous tasks including tote handling, with over 100,000 totes moved in commercial deployment. It connects islands of automation within facilities and addresses labor gaps, operating in spaces designed for people. It is managed through Arc, a cloud-based automation platform for fleet workflow monitoring and integration with AMRs and warehouse management systems. Deployments include Amazon, GXO, and Schaeffler, with Schaeffler targeting deployment across 100 plants by 2030.
