Description

The Shadow Teleoperation System enables intuitive remote operation of the Shadow Dexterous Hand across rooms or continents via WiFi and 5G. A lightweight glove provides minimal-latency control mimicking natural movements with very little training required. The system uses 20-DOF hands with 24 movements and over 120 sensors for unprecedented accuracy. Available in uni-lateral (single hand with glove, arm, and stand) or bi-lateral (both hands with two gloves, two arms, and two stands) configurations. Glove options include the in-house Shadow Glove optimized for comfort and natural feel, or the HaptX glove with integrated Shadow Tactile Fingertips providing full sensory feedback including pressure, temperature, and vibration. The modular design easily integrates into existing setups with customizable configuration and consultancy. AI and machine learning enable the system to be trained for autonomous remote task completion. Designed for nuclear, pharmaceutical, maintenance, and research sectors where onsite operation would put people at risk or where clean environments must be maintained. Targets research and industrial remote manipulation applications.
