Description

The MagicLab MagicBot Gen1 is a full-size general-purpose humanoid robot standing 1,740 mm tall and weighing approximately 70 kg with 42 active degrees of freedom. It features 7-DOF arms with 800 mm reach, 11-DOF dexterous hands (6 active, 5 passive), and 2-DOF waist. Maximum joint torque exceeds 350 N·m, with single-arm loads up to 7.5 kg and total body static loads up to 40 kg. It walks at over 4 km/h using a straight-knee walking gait powered by an industry-leading motion control network with self-learning optimization and robust disturbance resistance. Perception includes 3D LiDAR, two depth cameras, and three fisheye cameras with in-house navigation algorithms. Described as China’s first general-purpose humanoid robot with multi-robot collaboration, it uses 6D visual servoing and full-body imitation learning on a floating-base design for precision manipulation. Applications span intelligent guided tours, industrial manufacturing, and generalist service.
