The Unitree G1 is a humanoid robot priced from $13,500, standing 1,320 by 450 by 200 mm and weighing approximately 35 kg. It features 23 to 43 degrees of freedom: 6-DOF per leg, 1-DOF waist (plus optional 2 additional waist DOF on EDU), 5-DOF per arm, with the EDU optionally adding 7-DOF Dex3-1 three-finger dexterous hands and 2 additional wrist DOF. Knee torque reaches 90 N·m (120 N·m on EDU) with arm load of approximately 2 kg (3 kg on EDU). Extra-large joint movement space includes waist Z±155 degrees, knee 0 to 165 degrees, and hip P±154 degrees. A depth camera and 3D LiDAR provide perception, with 4-mic array, 5 W speaker, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 standard. A 9,000 mAh quick-release battery provides approximately 2 hours runtime. The robot is driven by imitation and reinforcement learning with the UnifoLM unified robot large model. The G1 EDU supports secondary development with optional high-compute modules such as Orin, plus tactile sensor arrays on the dexterous hand. It folds to 690 by 450 by 300 mm. Continuous OTA upgrades. Targets generalist, research, and household applications.
